Children’s Ministry

2020-2021 Religious Education Program

St. Roch Religious Education classes are beginning soon, and we would love to see your family there! Through the program, we strive to give students, ages 3 years-8th grade, who do not attend Catholic schools an extra opportunity to learn from scripture, understand and encounter the sacraments, and grow in faith and love of Christ. This year, our program theme will be “The Creed.” We are happy to incorporate a program called Catechesis of the Good Shepherd to children ages 3-6 along with resources from Catholic Sprouts and YDisciple for grades 1-8!

Our sessions will be offered from 9:15-10:15 a.m. on Sundays beginning Sunday, September 20. This fall semester, to keep best health practices in place in light of COVID-19, we will be offering sessions every other weekend with protective measures in place, such as socially distanced spacing and masks worn when necessary.

Summer Faith Adventure!

Although we couldn’t meet in person for the typical Vacation Bible School experience this year, St. Roch families still had fun participating in an at-home VBS program! Activities included crafts, special snacks, stories about the Kingdom of David, learning about the sacraments, and meeting together virtually to pray, show-and-tell about the day, and sing and dance! Thank you to all who joined in the adventure!
